Instructions:
- Make the Salisbury Steaks
In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 oval patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Set aside. - Prepare the Gravy
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the sliced onion until soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add beef broth while stirring. Add Worcestershire sauce, then simmer until thickened. Return the patties to the pan and spoon gravy over them. Simmer for a few more minutes. - Make the Mashed Potatoes & Peas
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain, mash with butter and milk, then season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook peas in boiling water for 3–4 minutes, then drain. - Serve
Plate the Salisbury steaks and spoon the onion gravy generously on top. Add a scoop of mashed potatoes and a serving of green peas on the side.
