Ingredients:
For the Beef:
• 500g beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into strips
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp mirin
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 garlic clove, minced

For the Teriyaki Glaze:
• 60ml soy sauce
• 60ml mirin
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar
• 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry, optional for thickening)
For the Bowl:
• 300g steamed white rice
• 200g broccoli florets, steamed
• 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions:
- Marinate and Cook the Beef
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add beef strips and marinate for 15–20 minutes. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook beef strips for 2–3 minutes per side until just cooked through. - Make the Teriyaki Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer, then stir in cornstarch slurry if a thicker glaze is desired. Cook until glossy, then remove from heat. - Assemble the Bowl
Place steamed rice in bowls, top with grilled beef strips and steamed broccoli. Drizzle with teriyaki glaze and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
