Ingredients:

For the Chicken Tenders:

• 500g chicken breast, cut into strips

• 100g all-purpose flour

• 2 eggs, beaten

• 120g breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

• 1 tsp paprika

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• Salt and black pepper, to taste

• Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Fries:

• 500g potatoes (or frozen French fries)

• 1 tbsp vegetable oil

• Salt, to taste

For the Sides:

• 100g coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)

• Honey mustard sauce (ramekin)

• Ranch dressing (ramekin)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken Tenders
Set up a breading station with three bowls: seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with paprika and garlic powder. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  2. Fry the Chicken
Heat oil in a skillet to 175°C (350°F). Fry chicken tenders in batches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 75°C / 165°F). Drain on paper towels.
  3. Make the Fries
If using fresh potatoes, cut into fries and toss with oil and salt. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 25–30 minutes, or fry until golden and crispy. If using frozen fries, cook according to package instructions.
  4. Plate and Serve
Arrange chicken tenders and fries on a plate. Place honey mustard and ranch dipping sauces in ramekins. Add a small portion of coleslaw on the side and serve hot.
